Here is My Story
1995
I graduated High School undecided on what exactly my life was going to look like.
All I knew, was that I didn't want a whole lot of school debt.
I was a bit scared, a bit excited, and a lot lost!
2 years later... I joined the Army!!!
1997
I learned to choose my own adventure!
The military really taught me a lot about being able to literally DO ANYTHING you put your sights on!!!
I became a Blackhawk Helicopter Crewchief! In other words, an aircraft mechanic!
My whole life changed!!!
1999
I became a mother!
Raising a child was honestly one of the most beautiful, frustrating, and rewarding experiences of my life!
I just love this young man so much!!!
2018
My son was graduating high school!
I found myself REALLY WANTING to BE in that position!
To be starting a whole new life. I remembered so many stories of people creating a new story for themselves.
I DECIDED that I was going to be one of those stories!
April 2020
I took the leap and left my 23 year career as an aircraft mechanic.
Nervous and shaky! I am determined to make this work.
At the same time not knowing how. I learned how to surrender and let go of all the controlling and figuring out how it will work and just trust that it will!

I didn't really realize at the time, but if I really look back, I have been talking about renovating a vehicle my whole life.
I fantasized about renovating a school bus as a child and taking long road trips in it with friends and family!
I bought a 1973 Airstream Argosy! She has been fully renovated and is now my home!
The BIGGEST project I have ever taken on!
I guess I have to clarify, outside of airplane work.
Someday I will finally gather all the documentation into a video or something.
The Argosy was renovated all the way to removing the shell and replacing the floorboards with a composite material called Coosa Board.
I was EXTREMELY fortunate to be able to complete the renovation with my dad after I got the shell back on.
While I did all the sheetmetal, electrical, and majority of the mechanical requirements, my Dad built all the cabinets from hickory.
The one exception is the
bathroom / shower door.
Dad taught me how to create stained glass pieces and participated in teaching me how to make a door frame and my crazy idea of making a door look like a tree.
I claim the door as my creation!
August 2024
After we completed the Argosy, Dad and I went on a road trip across the country!
From Washington State to Maine!
The best highlight for me was when a train engineer blew his train whistle at me and gave us a BIG thumbs up!
